I joined ISTO Advisors in 2021 and I keep the firm’s engine humming behind the scenes. I design and roll out quality-control checks, smarter workflows, and firm-wide tech upgrades that let the advising, planning, and client service teams spend more time with the families they serve.
A proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, I bring the Corps’ focus on discipline, teamwork, and mission first to every project. I earned a B.A. in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton in 2019.
I live in Troy with my wife, Melanie, and our energetic dog, Ruby. When I’m off the clock, I can be found planning our next trip, tracking down new restaurants to try, perfecting homemade versions of the dishes I discover, or cheering on my beloved Detroit Lions, ever the optimist for the next big season.
Why I joined ISTO…
After years in large organizations, I craved a firm where my ideas and work could truly move the needle, and my career could grow alongside the company. During the interview process I felt a camaraderie that reminded me of my military service. People united around a clear mission and enjoying the journey together. That rare blend of impact, teamwork, and fun made ISTO the perfect next step.

My mission is to remove friction so ISTO’s people can excel for our clients. By working with others to redesign workflows, leverage technology, and unite teams around a single playbook, we free capacity where it matters most. The payoff is immediate: advisors gain extra hours to coach families through life-changing decisions, planners dive deeper to craft richer and more forward-looking plans, and our client-service professionals have the breathing room to deliver proactive, white-glove care. As each group elevates its craft, the firm as a whole multiplies its impact - one household and one community at a time.
The Core Value I resonate most with at ISTO is…
The Core Value I resonate most with at ISTO is…
Unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation…in everything we do. This core value speaks to me at a gut level. Spending time in the military, you learn early that “good enough” is never the finish line. You debrief, refine, and run the drill again until it’s second nature. I’ve carried that mindset into every chapter of life, whether it’s improving your time on a gun run or testing process or technology tweaks just to improve the team or client experience 1%. Excellence, to me, isn’t about individual achievement, it’s about figuring out ways to lift everyone around me. When we redesign a process so an advisor can call a client instead of wrestling with software, that’s innovation in service to others. When we beta-test new software that lets clients see progress toward their goals, we’re simplifying lives and raising the bar simultaneously. The pursuit of “better” will never be finished, and that’s exactly what energizes me. It pushes me to deepen my knowledge and understanding, elevate as a collaborative teammate, strengthen my role as a thoughtful friend and family member, and step up as an engaged contributor to my community. ISTO’s commitment to that same relentless improvement assures me I’m in the right place for the long haul.
